We took up the challenge...

Ms Hastings liked our skipping video from two weeks ago and challenged us to try skipping with 4 ropes, in a square formation. Well today we gave it a go and it worked, well almost ... we haven't perfected it quite yet.

WoW! That is very impressive. The most impressive part is that when one side of the square stumbled, momentarily, the rest of the square managed to keep going whilst that side re-started again. I can see a bigger challenge is in order... How many sides (polygon) can you sustain simultaneously? What other designs/shapes could you make, given that each rope turner only has two hands?

Hopefully we do it again next term coz i missed out:( But then we can do 5 ropes, if we have that many... or maybe we could try, um, triple dutch??
